Learn the basics of backyard chicken processing at this hands-on workshop.  Topics covered will include humane slaughter, scalding, plucking and cleaning of chickens.  How to cut up whole chickens will also be included.  Everything you need to know to prepare home raised chickens for the kitchen or freezer.

This workshop will focus on educating and providing networking opportunities to underserved farmers and ranchers and veteran farmers.
