The 41st annual Three-State Beef Conference is an educational opportunity for beef cattle producers to engage with experts on topics of importance to their operations and connect with other producers. The program is a cooperative effort of University of Missouri Extension, Iowa State University Extension & Outreach, and University of Nebraska - Lincoln Extension.

This year's program theme is "High Tech, High Stakes, and Herd Health: What Producers Need to Know" and includes the following topics and speakers:

  • Emerging parasitic threats to the cow herd — Craig Payne, DVM, extension professor, extension veterinary medicine & continuing education, University of Missouri
  • Up and coming technologies for the beef industry: What do you need to know as a producer?  — Dr. Yijie Xiong, assistant professor & precision livestock management extension specialist, University of Nebraska – Lincoln
  • How global meat markets shape the US cattle supply — Dr. Elliott Dennis, associate professor, livestock & meat economist, University of Nebraska - Lincoln

The program is repeated in three locations:

  • January 13: Maryville, Missouri at the Agricultural Learning Center, 22893 US Hwy 71
  • January 14: Greenfield, Iowa at the Warren Cultural Center, 154 Public Square
  • January 15: Lincoln, Nebraska at the Nebraska Cattlemen office, 4611 Cattle Dr

The program, a proceedings book which includes the presentations, and a beef dinner are all included in the $30 per person fee. Register by Friday, January 9. Continuing education credits (2.25 hours) are available to veterinarians in attendance.
