**Please be sure to register with your name as it appears on your pesticide license**
**To be eligible for the recertification credit, attendees must complete ALL components of the program entirely. **
**Required registration data that you will need to provide will be:
- Applicator Name (as appears on license)
- MO pesticide license number (If you do not know your number, you can find that on MOPlants: Plants & Pests (https://apps.mda.mo.gov/moplants/SecurityLogin.aspx)).
- Business information (name, address, telephone number).
NEW Recertification Requirements — as of January 1, 2025 (01/01/2025) Commercial Applicators, Noncommercial Applicators, Public Operators and Pesticide Technicians must recertify/retrain in the CORE plus ALL licensed categories (instead of the most-used category) by the recertification/retraining date listed on their license. Recertification through examination will still require the CORE exam plus all licensed category exams. Based on your recertification or retraining date, you may or may not need to attend a program for recertification or retraining in 2026. This notice is mailed to licensed pesticide applicators and technicians that need to recertify in the year 2026 or 2027. You must check your license to see if this applies to you. This course is NOT approved for Noncertified RUP Applicator (NRUP) retraining. NRUPs must either attend an NRUP training program approved by the Missouri Department of Agriculture to retrain for 1 year OR pass the Core exam to retrain for 3 years.
To receive recertification credit, attendees must participate in the entire session, which will be tracked within the virtual platform.
Registered participants will access the live stream through the Zoom link provided in their confirmation email they will receive upon completion of online registration. Please do not share this link.
Each participant must have:
•A desktop or laptop computer (mobile devices, such as cell phones and tablets, are not supported)
•The ability to hear and view video content
•A unique and accessible email address for registration login and participation
•Virtual recertification requires individual login and active participation. Watching another’s screen does not qualify.
Email Address Requirement: A unique and accessible email address is required for registration and participation.
Refund Policy: Registration fees will be refunded to participants unable to attend, provided the request is submitted in writing to MU Extension at r.n.wesslak@missouri.edu within 7 days of the original training date.
Program Cancellation Policy:
If the University of Missouri cancels a program, your registration will be fully refunded.
Recertification Guidelines from the Missouri Department of Agriculture:
You must register for a Core session as well as all category sessions you wish to maintain on your license. If you do not register for this recertification program, you must either attend another approved recertification program for that category or pass the category exam prior to your recertification date to maintain that category on your license. If you fail to recertify or reexamine for a category currently listed on your license, you must contact the Missouri Pesticide Control Program to submit a request to remove that category (or categories) before your license is cancelled. If you fail to recertify or reexamine in Core within 60 days following your recertification date, your license will be cancelled.
