MFA Saddle Award
Application open April 1 — July 1
Eligibility
- The MFA Saddle Award is open to all currently enrolled Missouri 4-H members, ages 14-18 (as of January 1 of the current program year). Members must have been a Missouri 4-H member for at least one year.
- Applicants must be willing to give at least one year after the awarding of the saddle to enhance the local, multi-county and/or regional 4-H program efforts.
Application Format
Eligible youth may apply online starting April 1.
General Information
- The application consists of three parts: contact Information, essay questions, and a resume.
- Applicants must complete to the application linked below in its entirety to be considered.
- Applications will be reviewed the weeks following July 1. Applicants should expect an answer mid-July on the committee’s decision.
- The selected applicant will be awarded the saddle during the Equine Exhibitor Dinner on the evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
