Heather Conrow
Heather Conrow graduated from the University of Missouri with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2007 and her master’s degree in 2010, focused on swine reproduction and genetics. She is currently a livestock specialist with the University of Missouri Extension based in Howard County and the State 4-H Animal Science Educator. Her main programs include Show-Me-Quality Assurance, Pearls of Production, Genetic Lockboxes, Calving Clinics, Swine Artificial Insemination & Farrowing Workshops, Embryology, Beef Artificial Insemination Schools, FAMACH, and Backyard Laying Hen Workshops. She has a passion for education and a passion for youth.
Heather is married and has three sons, always 21, 8 and 6, and two daughters, 4 and 2. She and her husband own a commercial cow/calf operation and egg business in Howard County. In her spare time, she enjoys playing and fishing with her kids, checking cows, flea marketing and antiquing, and reading. She is all about kids, cows, pigs, and books.
