Professional background
Eric has worked for over 20 years in education, volunteer systems, and program leadership across nonprofit and university sectors. He previously served as interim 4-H Assistant Program Leader with University of Missouri Extension, supporting volunteer-led programming across the state. In that role, he expanded his work in youth engagement, volunteer development, and training delivery. He now leads statewide initiatives in volunteer systems, policy training, and risk management for MU Extension, developing resources and professional development for faculty, staff, and volunteers across Missouri.
Areas of work
Eric serves as consultant to Extension Administration, Program Leaders, Regional Directors, state and county faculty and staff around matters of risk and volunteer management policies, provides guidance and resources for volunteer development within MU Extension programs, and maintains a consistent framework for MU Extension risk management of off-campus operations and volunteer-led programs.
