Support 4-H through Tractor Supply Co. Paper Clover Campaign

Published

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missourians are invited to make a difference in the lives of local youths by supporting the Tractor Supply Co. 4-H Paper Clover Campaign. During the campaign, April 17-May 3, customers can visit their local Tractor Supply store and purchase a paper clover at checkout, with all donations benefiting 4-H programs.

Since 2010, Tractor Supply Co. has partnered with 4-H to prepare youths for work and life. The Paper Clover campaign has raised more than $24 million nationwide to help youths gain the technical and life skills to prepare them for whatever comes their way, said Rachel Augustine, senior director for advancement for University of Missouri Extension and Missouri 4-H Foundation.

Every donation stays close to home. All funds raised through the biannual Paper Clover campaign directly benefit 4-H youths; 90% of donations support programs within the state where the funds are raised, while the remaining 10% helps grow and strengthen 4-H nationwide.

Support from the Paper Clover campaign provides direct opportunities for 4-H’ers to attend camp, participate in leadership experiences and engage in hands-on learning that builds confidence and lifelong skills, Augustine said. These experiences help ensure youths are prepared to lead, serve, and succeed in their communities and beyond.

“These small contributions make a big impact,” she said. “When you purchase a paper clover, you’re helping provide meaningful opportunities that shape the future of young people right here in Missouri.”

Funds raised through the campaign help ensure that more youths have access to 4-H opportunities, empowering them to become leaders who are truly “Beyond Ready” for the future, Augustine said.

People can support the campaign by visiting their local Tractor Supply Co. store and adding a paper clover to their purchase. Every dollar helps cultivate the next generation of leaders, she said.
