ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Producers in northwestern Missouri can hear crop updates from University of Missouri Extension specialists Aug. 8 at the Northwest Missouri Soybean Walk.

MU Extension plant pathologist Mandy Bish will share results from on-farm soybean strip trials and provide information on disease identification. Agronomist Wayne Flanary will lead the soybean walk and discuss insect identification. The event begins 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Ferguson site, 6545 Pickett Road, St. Joseph.

Water will be provided.

The Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council and the MU Integrated Pest Management program (ipm.missouri.edu) sponsor the event.
