LAKE OZARK, Mo. – University of Missouri Extension regional economic development specialist Ashley Brown announced the 10 community co-chairs for “#Elevate: An Empowering Experience for Women.”

#Elevate, set for March 2, 2024, at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, is designed to educate and connect women to one another and themselves, Brown says.

The community co-chairs are Jennifer Bethurem, Stephanie Dehner, Amanda Hayes, Constance Hoffman, Lisa Larsen, Ashley McDonnell, Page Miller, Stacy Pyrtle, Jordan Stanton and Roxanne Ten-Bensel.

“On behalf of MU Extension, I am thrilled to have these creative local leaders collaborating with our event planning committee to create an inspiring educational event for women in the Lake of the Ozarks area and all across Missouri,” Brown said.

“In addition to an unwavering dedication to service above self, each woman brings unique energy, ideas and talents to the table, which is essential for effectively making something wonderful happen for our deserving community,” she said.

#Elevate is a free event for all Lake area women and is intended to provide education and practical takeaways that one can apply personal and professional life, Brown said. It will feature concurrent sessions on self-care, managing stress, financial fitness and more. There will be free health screenings provided courtesy of MU Health Outreach, Lake Regional Health Systems and Central Ozarks Medical Center. An exhibit hall will feature products and services specifically for women.

#Elevate is organized by the MU Extension centers Camden, Miller, Morgan, Hickory, Benton and Dallas counties. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/Elevate4Women or contact Ashley Brown at allen-browna@missouri.edu.
