COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri 4-H Foundation is awarding scholarships totaling $87,000 to Missouri 4-H youths to help further their education.

“With the support of many dedicated donors and partners, the Missouri 4-H Foundation has been helping 4-H’ers meet their educational goals for more than 70 years,” said Kelli Jo Buettner, Missouri 4-H Foundation chair. “This year is no different: We are elated and honored to present scholarships this year to an incredible group of young people who have committed themselves to 4-H, their communities and Missouri. We are excited to see what lies ahead for them and celebrate the impact they will continue to make on the world we live in.”

Missouri 4-H youths are encouraged to showcase their personal growth and development as well as their career goals on their scholarship applications.

“We know that 4-H members have the skills to succeed in their lives, their communities and their careers,” said Rachel Augustine, Missouri 4-H Foundation director. “What they may not have are the financial resources to help them attend college. It is thanks to the generosity of our donors that we are able to offer scholarships to so many deserving young people each year.”

A gift to the Missouri 4-H Foundation Scholarship Fund will help ensure more young people have an opportunity to attend college and reach their full potential. To make a gift, visit https://mizzougivedirect.missouri.edu/fund.aspx?item_id=704.
