COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri 4-H Foundation is awarding 68 scholarships totaling $69,350 to Missouri 4-H youths to help further their educations.

“For over 70 years, the Missouri 4-H Foundation, our donors and our partner organizations have supported 4-H’ers as they continued their educational goals,” said Kyle Kerns, Missouri 4-H Foundation chair. “We are pleased to honor an amazing group of 4-H’ers who epitomize the 4-H program by making their local clubs, communities and Missouri better.”

Missouri 4-H youths are encouraged to showcase their personal growth and development as well as their career goals on their scholarship applications.

“We know that 4-H members have the skills to succeed in their lives, their communities and their careers” said Rachel Augustine, Missouri 4-H Foundation director. “What they may not have are the financial resources to help them attend college. Our hope is that these scholarships offer some relief to a generation that has faced unprecedented challenges throughout the past year.”

A gift to the Missouri 4-H Foundation Scholarship Fund will help ensure more young people have an opportunity to attend college and reach their full potential. To make a gift, visit mizzougivedirect.missouri.edu/fund.aspx?item_id=704
