SEDALIA, Mo. – The 18th annual Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame ceremony on Aug. 10, 2024, honored outstanding volunteers and supporters who have made lasting contributions to the 4-H program and the youths of Missouri.

“This ceremony is a reminder of the extraordinary difference volunteers and supporters make in the lives of young people across Missouri," said Lupita Fabregas, senior program director for the University of Missouri Extension 4-H Center for Youth Development. "We are grateful for their dedication and the legacy they leave through their service.”

The event highlighted the continuing partnership between Missouri 4-H and key sponsors. “We are thankful for the unwavering support of FCS Financial and the Missouri State Fair,” said Rachel Augustine, senior director of advancement for MU Extension and the Missouri 4-H Foundation. “Their partnership allows us to grow our mission of empowering youth through hands-on learning, leadership development and community engagement.”

The Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame ceremony was part of the Missouri State Fair’s 4-H Day, showcasing the lasting relationship between the fair and the 4-H program. This year’s honorees join a distinguished group of more than 650 individuals or organizations who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame since its inception.
