The 4-H Century Family Award underscores the vital role these families play in advancing the 4-H mission: to empower youths with skills that prepare them for success in life and work, said Rachel Augustine, senior director of advancement for University of Missouri Extension and the Missouri 4-H Foundation.

More than recognition, this award invites families to reflect on their shared history with 4-H, Augustine said. It is an opportunity to relive cherished memories, celebrate milestones and honor the values that have sustained their connection to the program for generations.

“We are inspired by their unwavering commitment and the legacy they have built within the 4-H community,” she said. “Their stories remind us all of the transformative power of 4-H.”
