Walk with Ease is a 6-week walking program that is open to anyone and everyone. No matter if you need relief from arthritis pain or just want to be active, the Arthritis Foundation’s Walk With Ease program can teach you how to safely make physical activity part of your everyday life. 

The program includes a guidebook and a walking schedule to get you safely moving toward better health- the guidebook can be mailed to you upon confirmation of attendance in the program. Books may not arrive before the first day of class, but should be to you before the second class. 

Studies by the Thurston Arthritis Research Center and the Institute on Aging of the University of North Carolina show that Walk With Ease is proven to:   

  • Reduce the pain and discomfort of arthritis  
  • Increase balance, strength and walking pace  
  • Build confidence in your ability to be physically active  
  • Improve overall health

  • This class will be a Virtual Setting. This means we will meet 1 time a week for 6 weeks. We will meet on Mondays at 8:00 am on Zoom. Though we only meet once a week, we will have guides to our walking days that will follow our lessons. The nice thing about this is that means you can plan your walking time that best fits your schedule!
