Successful Extension work depends on strong human connections, community trust, and inclusive engagement practices. This three-session ISE series equips Extension professionals with practical tools to engage individuals and communities navigating stress/trauma, disability, and policy/legalities—while building authentic relationships that support collaboration and funding opportunities. Participants will explore trauma-informed practice, universal design for inclusive engagement, and strategies for working with families and communities in crisis while maintaining professional boundaries. Each session blends human-centered practice with community engagement strategies that strengthen partnerships and long-term Extension impact.
