Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) is a strength training program for older adults or sedentary adults who are looking for a structured and effective strength training program. Stay Strong, Stay Healthy- Level 3 is a follow-up to Level 2 and focuses on moving to and from the floor and movements with a slightly faster tempo. It is for those who want to challenge themselves even more! Over eight weeks, you will learn exercises to improve strength, movement speed, flexibility, and balance. At each session, you complete a warm-up, set of eight strengthening exercises and cool-down stretches. In order to enroll in the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy–Level 3 program, we recommend you participate in Stay Strong, Stay Healthy-Level 2 at least twice or have permission from the instructor. Participants are made to feel comfortable and are encouraged to gradually build strength beneficial to health. All equipment is provided.
