The primary purpose the SFST Refresher Training Program is to improve the overall consistency of administration of the SFSTs by individual police officers. Officers can refresh their skills with: *recognizing and interpreting evidence of DWI
*administering and interpreting the scientifically validated sobriety tests
*describing DWI evidence clearly and convincingly
*reviewing information regarding recent case law and research studies.
This course will discuss Missouri State statues related to intoxication while operating a motor vehicle. As well as related case law pertaining to Driving While Intoxicated.
An understanding of impaired driving laws that apply in your jurisdiction is critical to successful DWI enforcement.
