The Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) team will be hosting a Roundtable Discussion for all Missouri RFW Designees on Tuesday, September 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Marriott Kansas City in Overland Park, KS.  This event will be a follow-up to the June 5, 2024 Roundtable Discussion and will be a part of the Midwest Rural Opioid and Stimulant Conference (https://ppsi.iastate.edu/midwest-rural-opioid-stimulant-conference-2024).

Our goal is to build on the June event, providing designees with other resources and connection they need. We ultimately want to continue to create a community of practice with the RFW Designees by offering you a chance to come together and by giving older and newer designees a chance to meet in person. We hope you learn from each other as you discuss current and future needs.

This event is for current RFW Designees or those in the process of receiving the designation. If you know a business that would like to become designated, please have them reach out on the contact form on the website (https://recoveryfriendlymo.com/) or email Ann McCauley (mccauleya@missouri.edu).

We need you to register for this event separately from the Midwest Rural Opioid and Stimulant Conference. Lunch will be provided and will begin at noon, after a brief welcome and introductions.

Please register by Tuesday, August 27 to give us a headcount for lunch.

Please contact Allene Gremaud (agremaud@missouri.edu) or Ann McCauley (mccauleya@missouri.edu) with questions.

The RFW MO Roundtable Discussion is fully funded through the Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional (ROTA-R) Center of Excellence Program (TI-22-012) award # TI-085600 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
