Fall has arrived and it is time to start thinking about how to prepare our gardens beds for winter. At the St. Louis County Demonstration Garden we are planting garlic, preparing our fragile strawberry plants to withstand freezing temperatures, and seeding cover crops. Join this workshop for hands-on experience and tips on:
- Planting garlic in raised beds
- Overwintering strawberries using straw mulch
- Seeding fall cover crops
This event counts as Advanced Training for Master Gardeners.
