Description:
Paint Your Story is a free guided art experience designed for veterans and first responders. Hosted by the University of Missouri Extension’s Veteran R.E.A.D.S. Program in partnership with Monkey Brain Art, this event brings together creative expression, reflection, and community connection.
Participants will take part in a guided painting activity while engaging in conversation about personal stories, resilience, and the shared experiences of service. No art experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
The event is free and open to all veterans, first responders, and their families; however, registration is required for all participants.

The Mid-Continent Public Library (Riverside Branch) is located near NW Gateway Avenue in Riverside, Missouri. From I-635, take the Horizons Parkway exit and travel east toward NW Gateway Avenue. Turn onto NW Gateway Avenue and follow signs to the library. Parking is available on-site.
