3-2-1 BLAST OFF! Kick off the 4-H Year will a bang of excitement by participating in the Northeast 4-H Regional Beyond Ready Roundup on Saturday, November 8th in Macon!
This is a great opportunity to meet others from across the region, get excited about all 4-H has to offer and spend some time in hand-on activities that will help you in preparing for the future! Clover Kids will have their own sessions including a touch of some of the same topics the members are exploring including fashion review, recreation and working with others. 4-H members from across the region will have the opportunity to embrace the theme of being beyond ready with the following workshops:
- Beyond Ready to Exhibit: SMQA Training- a track for youth who plan to exhibit livestock in this 4-H year
- Accidents Happen- Be Ready: First Aid Basics
- Ready to Work with Others: Team Building
- Finances and Your Future
- What Do You Do: Interview
- Ready to Lead: Club Officer Training
- Ready to Build: An Engineering Challenge with MO 4-H and Compass Academy Network
- From Fractions to Food: Kitchen Math
- Ag Math: Calculating Feed Cost and Feed Conversions
- If you Got a Problem, Yo Let’s Solve It: Conflict Resolution
- Dressed Up and Ready to Go: Fashion Revue- a contest and workshop track
Volunteers and Parents are welcome to join their members in their sessions or they can attend sessions of their own including:
- New Family Orientation
- Beyond Ready: Life Skills and Career Connections
- Power-up Wellness Hour- Move, Laugh and Recharge
- Just Google It: Organizational Tools for Leaders
Join us from 9 am to 1 pm in Macon for the Beyond Ready Roundup!
This event is being provided free for all 4-H youth, volunteer, and parent registrants through sponsorship from MA Bank and Northeast 4-H Regional Funds.
