Extension’s Priority Sessions for Business and Communities are designed to bring people together to talk about what matters most to the local economy and quality of life. These sessions create a welcoming space for business owners, community leaders, elected officials, and partners to share ideas, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities related to topics like workforce, small business growth, housing, and community development. The focus is on conversation and collaboration—not presentations—so participants can learn from one another and identify shared priorities.

The goal of these sessions is to help communities move from ideas to action. Extension serves as a neutral facilitator, helping connect people, resources, and research-based information to support local solutions. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of community needs, new connections, and practical next steps that can strengthen businesses and communities over time.
