The University of Missouri Butler County Extension office will host an Excel Basic Class. 

This course is from the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate Exam Prep Study Guide. This will the first project of three series. This class will be a slow-paced class to ensure that participants have a strong understanding of the concept before moving to the next session. Some of the topics that will be covered are customize your Quick Access toolbar, inserting and removing hyperlinks, inserting relative, absolute, and mixed references, how to use the Auto Fill function, performing calculations, applying number formats, how to wrap text, adjusting cells sizes, insert and delete cells, using the count and if functions, pasting options, formatting text, using charts, how to look for issues, basic workbook properties, adding alternative text to charts for accessibility, and saving workbooks in alternative file formats. 

This class will be every Monday for 7 weeks.

Each class is scheduled to last one and a half hour.

The last class will be June 2nd. The May 26th class will be on May 27th in observation of Memorial Day.

There is no charge for the class.
