Come and learn all the ways to host an event that focuses on planning, cooking, and serving food that is conscious of the safety concerns of and inclusive for individuals with alpha-gal syndrome. This session will walk through practical strategies for hosting Extension events that are alpha-gal friendly. Participants will learn how to identify common mammal-derived ingredients, make simple recipe and menu adaptations, prevent cross-contact, and communicate food accommodations clearly with attendees. Whether you help plan large community events or small meetings, this training will provide realistic, easy-to-apply guidance to support participant safety and inclusion.
