Whether you are new to canning, or you just need a refresher on something you’ve been doing for years, University of Missouri Extension’s Food Preservation Series can help you preserve your produce safely and efficiently.

  • On July 27th, 11 am- 1 pm, a Home Dehydration workshop will feature a lecture and hands on application of drying fruit, herbs, and jerky.
  • On July 27th, 2 pm-4:30 pm, a Home Water Bath Canning workshop will feature a lecture and hands on application of canning tomato salsa.
  • On August 17th, 1:30pm- 4:30p, a Home Pressure Canning workshop will feature a lecture with hands on application of canning garden produce.

Each workshop is $20 a piece, or $50 of all three workshops. The discount is applied at checkout. 

All home food preservation supplies are provided.
