This four-part grant workshop series is made possible at no cost to participants by funding from the Delta Regional Authority, and is intended to allow local governments and nonprofits to increase their capacity to find, apply for, and administer grants to serve their communities.
Sessions will be held each Friday from 1 pm - 4 pm, with a catered lunch available at noon. Session one will focus on how data about your community can be used to tell a compelling story that strengthens your grant applications. Session two will focus on engaging your community members to form effective partnerships and secure buy-in at all stages of the grant process. Session three takes a broader look at applying for various grants, helping participants think through several considerations of grant proposals to help participants move from idea to implementation. Session four dives into the actual fiscal management practices necessary to complete the work and report your successes to the funder.
