MU Extension Field Specialists in Forage and Livestock will discuss winter feeding considerations, management of forage to extend the grazing season by traditional and alternative feed sources, such as winter strip-grazing grain sorghum. Discussion will also focus on feeding winter hay to meet livestock nutritional needs.
Additionally, considerations for extending grazing and forage options going into spring and summer will be discussed.
There is no registration fee, but please register online or by calling the Madison County Extension Office at 573-783-3303.
