This program is designed to teach those individuals that are considering buying local meat. The program will focus on the following topics:
- Finding local meat
- Working with a processor
- Meat terminology
- What to expect to get when buying bulk meat (Whole or half)
- What cuts are available from a carcass
- How much storage space do I need
- How long can I freeze it.
Some local producers will be there to answer questions.
