Most of us hope to leave a lasting legacy in the communities we serve through the programs we deliver, the partnerships we build, and the lives we touch. Yet one of the most meaningful and enduring ways to extend that legacy is by investing in the people who will carry the work forward.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or stepping into a leadership role, mentoring is an opportunity to share your knowledge, encourage growth, and help others navigate challenges with confidence. In this session, you'll explore the qualities of effective mentors, practical strategies for building meaningful mentoring relationships, and simple ways to support the development of colleagues at every stage of their careers.

Because while programs may end and projects may evolve, the people we invest in continue to shape our communities for years to come. By growing people, you leave a legacy that reaches far beyond your own career.

Instruction will be by the MELD change project group consisting of Janet Braun, Kendra Graham, Rusty Lee, & Eric Meusch.

This is an internal event for MU Extension faculty.
