Do you want to learn the basics of gardening while promoting a healthy environment? Join us for the Extension Garden Steward: Green Thumb Bootcamp, a 5-week course designed for gardeners of all experience levels.  

This interactive course includes hands-on activities following each presentation, giving you practical skills to grow and maintain a thriving garden.  

Topics Covered:

  • Site assessment 
  • Vegetable gardening and food safety 
  • Ornamental gardening 
  • Insects and integrated pest management 
  • Pollinator habitats and stewardship  

Course Details:

When: Tuesdays, July 15th to August 12th, 6 pm to 8 pm 

Where: MCPL - Woodneath Library Center, 8900 NE Flintlock Road, Kansas City, MO  

Format: In-person with hands-on activities  

Cost: Free
