Do you want to learn the basics of gardening while promoting a healthy environment? Join us for the Extension Garden Steward: Green Thumb Bootcamp, a 5-week course designed for gardeners of all experience levels.  This interactive course includes hands-on activities following each presentation, giving you practical skills to grow and maintain a thriving garden.  

Topics Covered:

  • Site assessment 
  • Vegetable gardening and food safety 
  • Ornamental gardening 
  • Insects and integrated pest management 
  • Pollinator habitats and stewardship

When: Wednesdays, July 2nd to July 30th, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm 

Where: MCPL-Platte City, 2702 Prairie View Rd, Platte City, MO 64079-7604 

Format: In-person with hands-on activities
