Join us for the Extension Garden Steward: Green Thumb Bootcamp, a 5-week course designed for gardeners of all experience levels. This interactive course includes hands-on activities following each presentation, giving you practical skills to grow and maintain a thriving garden.

- Site assessment
- Vegetable gardening and food safety
- Ornamental gardening Insects and integrated pest management
- Pollinator habitats and stewardship
Course Details:
When: Thursdays, July 24th - August 21st, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. (AmeriCorps Senior Volunteers: 9:30 am to 1:00 pm)
Where: Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council, 3700 Woodland Ave, Kansas City, MO
Format: In-person with hands-on activities
Cost: Free
This course is facilitated by MU Extension in partnership with the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program.
