This program provides participants with knowledge and skills to proactively meet needs of children and families in the early childhood setting related to grief. Participants will learn to 1) define death, grief, ambiguous loss, and myths around children and grief; 2) recognize behavior patterns in young children regarding grief and loss; and 3) implement strategies to support bereaved youth and families in early childhood settings.

Participants will earn two (2) clock hours for participation in this training.
