This session is for early childhood educators. It qualifies for 1 clock hour through MOPD. Habits formed in early childhood can last a lifetime, so it is important that young children learn healthy eating habits. This training will focus on strategies for teaching the children in your preschool classrooms about good nutrition and making healthy food choices.
This session will be a part of a multi-class series on Saturday, January 25th focused on Building Healthy Habits. The 3 sessions will include: Executive Functioning in Preschoolers, Promoting Healthy Eating with Preschoolers and Indoor Physical Activity and Movement with Preschoolers.
Participants are encouraged to register for all three sessions; however it is not a requirement.
