This session is for early childhood educators and is eligible for 1 MOPD Clock Hour. Gross motor skill development is an important part of early childhood. Preschool children need time and space throughout the day to engage in gross motor activities. What if it is too hot or too cold or raining outside? This course will focus on strategies for incorporating gross motor activities inside your preschool classroom.
This session will be a part of a multi-class series on Saturday, January 25th focused on Building Healthy Habits. The 3 sessions will include: Executive Functioning in Preschoolers, Promoting Healthy Eating with Preschoolers and Indoor Physical Activity and Movement with Preschoolers.
Participants are encouraged to register for all three sessions; however it is not a requirement.
