Butterfly Identification EMG Advanced Training Friday, May 30 from 10 am to 2:30 pm Classroom session at the Boone County Extension Office followed with hands-on activities at Jefferson Farm and Garden.
Kelly McGowan, Field Specialist in Horticulture, will present how to identify eggs, larvae and adult native butterflies.
After the classroom session, the workshop will move to Jefferson Farm and Garden where participants will learn how to find and gather native butterfly eggs, larvae and adults. Gathered eggs, larvae and adults will be cared for in hopes of increasing the total number of adults in the butterfly house for the Butterfly Festival.
Cost: Free however bring your own brown bag lunch
