Ag Resources Webinar

It can be hard for farmers to know what agencies to turn to for help and what programs may be available to help them reach their goals. To help with this, University of Missouri Extension’s Livestock Specialist Elizabeth Picking and Agronomy Field Specialist Haley Schwantz are hosting an Ag Resources Webinar. Farmers in Missouri should be aware of the financial and technical resources available to them as agricultural commodities producers. Elizabeth and Haley welcome all farmers to join us for two Thursdays in April during lunchtime to hear more about the cost share programs. Some of the cost-share opportunities they can learn about include lime, fertilizer, seeding, fencing, watering systems for livestock, and streambank stabilization. Come join us during a two-session webinar:

  • Session 1: Thursday, April 9th 12-1PM
    • University of Missouri Ag Resources overview with Elizabeth Picking and Haley Schwantz
    • Missouri Department of Conservation Ag Resources overview with Private Lands Conservationist, Mark McClain
    • Farm Service Agency Ag Resources overview with County Executive Director, Aaron Sandlin
  • Session 2: Thursday, April 16th 12-1PM
    • Soil and Water Conservation District of Ozark County Melisa Myers, District Specialist V and Laramie Johnson, District Specialist III
    • Natural Resources Conservation Service Resource Conservationist Tammy Bennett

This event is free to attend. A confirmation email will be sent with a zoom link. Please make sure to have the zoom application downloaded prior to the webinar. If you need any assistance, please contact your local extension office.
