INTRODUCTION:

Students will care for pre-incubated chicks by monitoring an incubator, maintaining optimal incubation stages and caring for the chicks after incubation— all during a two-week period. Partner with MU Extension to provide an optimal hands-on learning experience. Each educator will receive a kit of educational resources, pre-incubated eggs (chicks are accepted back at conclusion of the program), and incubator. This program is a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register early to secure your spot in the program.
