Join the the Center for Urban Agriculture, MU Extension and Missouri Farmers Union for a workshop on establishing best practices for produce safety which are essential to the success and longevity of any fruit or vegetable farm. Federal produce safety regulations as well as produce safety requirements can seem daunting, but they don't have to be! Learn some of the produce safety basics at this on-farm workshop. 

Tour the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture's small-scale diversified fruit and vegetable operation and learn how best practices for produce safety can be implemented on the farm. 

Monday, May 20 from 5:30-8:30 pm.

A light meal and drinks will be provided at the farm for those that preregister only. This is a walking farm tour so please wear appropriate footwear.

Registration deadline is 5 pm on May 13.
