Join us for the Cole County at the Capitol Community One- Mile Walk, hosted by University of Missouri Extension and Lincoln University Cooperative Extension as part of the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative. The walk will be held just before the end of the 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative for 2025.

This free, in-person event is a fun and encouraging way to celebrate your progress, connect with your community, and stay motivated to keep moving through the rest of the year.  Whether you've already logged miles or are just getting started, everyone is welcome.

The walk is open to all ages and abilities, and participants will have the opportunity to meet others taking part in the challenge, explore the Capitol grounds, and pick up helpful tips and resources to support their health goals. The Cole County at the Capitol Community One Mile Walk will be held Saturday, September 20th, beginning at 9a.

The relaxed, one-mile route will be marked.

You can go at your own pace and walk farther if desired. Water will be available. If you have not already, be sure to also register for the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative and start tracking your activity and receive weekly motivation. Then sign up here for the Cole County at the Capitol Community One Mile Walk- we can't wait to see you there!
