Join us for the Callaway County Community One Mile Walk, hosted by University of Missouri Extension as part of the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative.
Taking place a little past the halfway point of the 100-day challenge, this free, in-person event is a fun and encouraging way to celebrate your progress, connect with your community, and stay motivated to keep moving through the rest of the summer. Whether you’ve already logged miles or are just getting started, everyone is welcome. The walk is open to all ages and abilities, and participants will have the opportunity to meet others taking part in the challenge, explore Legends Rec Plex and Veteran's Park, and pick up helpful tips and resources to support their health goals.
The Callaway County Community One Mile Walk will begin at Legends Rec Plex and continue around Veteran's Park in Fulton, MO.
The community walk will be hosted Tuesday, August 5th, beginning at 8a. The relaxed 1-mile loop route will be marked for the community walk. You can go at your own pace and can walk farther than one mile if desired. Water will be available at Legends.
If you haven’t already, be sure to also register for the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative and start tracking your activity and receive weekly motivation. Then sign up here to join your local Callaway County Community Walk—we can’t wait to see you there!
