Participants who have completed the basic training course and fulfilled the requirements to become Master Gardeners may join the Hill and Hollow Chapter of Master Gardeners.
The group meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Newton County MU Extension Office.
The chapter’s annual plant sale is held in May. Plants are sold at reasonable prices and include perennials, bedding plants, bulbs, trees, natives and other seasonal plants.
If you enjoy gardening, want to learn more about horticulture, and are willing to share with others what you know and learn, you’re a prime candidate to become a Master Gardener. Contact MU Extension in Newton County.
