4-H School Enrichment Programs
Missouri 4-H Youth Development Programs values it relationship with schools and welcomes the opportunity to provide educationally sound, fun, action-oriented, experiential curriculum for use in classrooms. The following projects are especially recommended for the classroom setting as a supplementary or enrichment experience for young people. In addition to these school enrichment projects, many other 4-H projects are adaptable to the school setting. Missouri 4-H has projects and activities to meet the needs/interests of almost any group of young people.
There are four goals and six content areas:
- Acquire knowledge and skills to gather, analyze and apply information
- Acquire knowledge and skills to communicate effectively within and beyond the classroom
- Acquire knowledge and skills to recognize and solve problems
- Acquire knowledge and skills to make decisions and act as responsible members of society
