Missouri 4-H Youth Development Programs values it relationship with schools and welcomes the opportunity to provide educationally sound, fun, action-oriented, experiential curriculum for use in classrooms. The following projects are especially recommended for the classroom setting as a supplementary or enrichment experience for young people. In addition to these school enrichment projects, many other 4-H projects are adaptable to the school setting. Missouri 4-H has projects and activities to meet the needs/interests of almost any group of young people.
There are four goals and six content areas:
Acquire knowledge and skills to gather, analyze and apply information
Acquire knowledge and skills to communicate effectively within and beyond the classroom
Acquire knowledge and skills to recognize and solve problems
Acquire knowledge and skills to make decisions and act as responsible members of society
