Guidelines and ballot information
Citizens of voting age in Christian County, pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 262-573, R.S. Mo., will have an opportunity to vote and elect members to the University of Missouri Extension Council in January. The elected and appointed members of the Extension Council will guide, and direct Extension work within the county. There are four seats open for elective positions in District I East and three seats open for elective positions in District II West. The nominees and their districts are as follows:
District name: District I East
District description: District I East is the same as the general election Eastern District.

District description: District II West is the same as the general election Western District.

Additional nominations may be made by petition of 25 or more qualified voters residing within the district, filed with the Council by Jan. 14, 2025. Forms for nominations are available in the Christian County MU Extension office.
Voting
Residents of Christian County may vote for candidates that represent the Christian County geographic district in which they reside.
Secure online voting will be conducted on this webpage. Biographies of the candidates and the election ballot will be available in the area below when voting goes live. Online voting begins at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, and runs until 4 p.m., Jan. 30, 2025.
