MU Extension is excited to offer the Veteran Startup Ventures program, designed to help veterans start and grow their own businesses. This course assists veterans in obtaining veteran-owned small business certification through the SBA while also providing tools to build a successful enterprise.

Over 4 to 5 weeks, participants will evaluate their business models, understand key business concepts, and learn practical operations. The program focuses on data-driven decisions, customer discovery techniques, and understanding financial statements. Using the online platform Live plan, veterans will create business plans and pitches to secure funding.

This program is specifically designed for those who have served and understand the strength and value their service provided and want to set off on a new adventure as a business owner ready to chart a new path of success.
