Description:

Explore how frontline nurses discover and use the latest evidence to enhance nursing care and improve patient outcomes. The focus of EBP is not on high level research but on how frontline nurses can practice in an evidentiary world. Nurses will learn basic easy-to-understand information about planning and conducting EBP projects, and specifically about the role EBP plats alongside QI activities and Nursing Research. Novice nurses will gain new skills and seasoned nurses will gain new knowledge that enables them to carry out projects to guide everyday practice. Examples of EBP projects conducted by real nurses will be presented
