This newsletter corresponds with Lesson 5 of the Show Me Nutrition Fifth Grade curriculum. Vegetables are an important part of our everyday diet. They are low in calories, high in nutrients, quick to fix and make great snacks. This newsletter provides creative ways to prepare and serve vegetables to make them appeal to everyone in the family. Two easy-to-fix recipes are also included.
