EMS Education offers new and continuing training to EMS professionals

Our mission is to provide an evolving and dynamic education and training program to new and existing EMS and Allied Healthcare Professionals that meets and exceeds the current standard of care.

The EMT education program includes everything from basic EMT courses to PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Life Support) training. The University of Missouri Health Care EMS Institute is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).

Bound Tree Medical Legacy Scholarship Program

Children of career or volunteer Emergency medical Technicians, Paramedics or Firefighters can apply for financial support with EMT or Paramedic education process.

Bryant Gladney Paramedic Education Scholarship

Scholarship for students attending a program to become a Paramedic. Seeking students who display a strong passion for serving their community and plan to pursue a life-long career in emergency medicine. They award four $1,000 scholarships per semester.
