The 2024 Pearls of Production committee has a great two-day conference scheduled this fall.  The first conference date is October 29th at 6:00 pm, and will be held via Zoom with breakout sessions and a keynote presentation.  Session topics include estate planning, backyard layers, enhancing value added meat marketing and beekeeping.

 The second date is November 2nd beginning at 9:00 am at the MU Beef Research and Teaching Farm in Columbia, MO, and will feature three hands-on, breakout sessions.  When you register, you will have the opportunity to select one topic per breakout session.  Topics this year range from beef genetics to backyard laying hens and forage/pasture assessment.  New this year…Future Pearls of Agriculture!  For the November 2nd conference date only, registrants will also have the option to sign their children (ages 5 to 12) up for a fun-filled day of hands-on learning activities while attending their chosen breakout sessions.

  • November 2 – hands-on sessions – 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. – in-person, Columbia

    Cost:

    • $99 for Both days
    • $95 for In-person day only
    • $25 for virtual day only
    • $10 for children who attend on In-person day
