2018 Lafayette County Platbook Is Available Now!  

The 2018 Lafayette County Missouri Platbook contains the 2018 plat maps; aerial views of the public and private roadways; and maps of waterways, railways and section lines.  The book includes boundary maps for municipalities, political townships, school districts and zipcodes. Plat books are $40 while the photo paper plat maps that are 3 feet by 4 feet are $60. Please email LafayetteCo@missouri.edu for additional information.  Payments for plat books and maps can be made with cash or check.  There will be an additional charge for shipping.  Plat books or plat maps make nice gifts for those hard to buy for individuals.

2019 Lafayette County Parent Education Program Schedule — 15th Circuit

All classes will be held from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Lafayette County Extension Center, 14 E 19th St., Suite 102, Higginsville, MO. The cost is $40 per person. We must have 3 persons attending to hold the class.  Pre-registration and payment is required a week before the session. Talk to your friends, neighbors, county officials, and legislators about the value of extension

Extension in Lafayette County relies on local, state and federal support. If you value what extension does in Lafayette County, please tell your political leaders about what extension has done for you or what you have seen it do for other people and communities.

Run for a position on the Lafayette County Extension Council

The Lafayette County Extension Council is responsible for providing input for extension programs and for administering local extension funds. If you are passionate about education and making a difference in your community, serving on the Extension Council would be a great experience for you. If you would like to run for a position, contact a current member of the Council or call the Extension Center (660-584-3658) to learn about the responsibilities of Extension Council members and the process for Council elections.

Make a contribution to the Lafayette County Extension Endowment Fund

An endowment fund is an investment fund that is set up to benefit an organization or institution by providing a future source of investment income. Lafayette County Extension has an endowment fund that is held at the University of Missouri. Any contributions to Lafayette County Extension's endowment fund will be used to sustain Extension programming in Lafayette County. Contributions to the endowment fund are tax deductible, and they will be managed with utmost care and diligence as they help to improve the lives of Lafayette County residents.
